Marvel Studios announced it’s Phase 5 and Phase 6 projects. But what’s interesting is that Marvel’s Secret Invasion now has a release window. Fans at Comic Con 2022 were also shown a teaser trailer.
From what the audience has to tell about this teaser trailer, here are the 3 interesting details about Secret Invasion:
1 – Nick Fury
In the very first scene of the teaser trailer Nick Fury returns to Earth in a spaceship. He then talks to Maria Hill at a bar, who says she’s been trying to contact him for years without success. Maria asks why he decided to come back after so long. Nick says that a problem has arisen that he needs to solve.
However, it’s not sure yet if he’ll be seen without his eye patch or not. A previous teaser on Disney+ did show a glimpse of Fury without the eye patch. It seems plausible to see him in a new look.
This would be 12th time Samuel L. Jackson will be returning as Nick Fury. He’ll most probably be leading Secret Invasion series.

2 – Talos
The trailer also has some quick scenes of Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. We saw him in Captain Marvel as a leader of the Skrulls. Talos is the most intelligent cunning spy and the master of shapeshifting. He’s more offensive against the Kree and is ready to go against them to protect his own kind. He’ll most probably be seen doing the same again.

Other Characters
There are a handful of other characters whose names haven’t been released yet by Marvel. The most prominent of all is Emilia Clarke whose character fires a gun. Then there’s Kingsley Ben-Adir’s character changing shape.
Olivia Colman’s character telling Nick, “You’re not fit for this, Fury.” Then there are quick scenes of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.

3 – Secret Invasion: A Dark Thriller
The audience who has seen this teaser trailer claims that Secret Invasions has more of a Captain America: The Winter Soldier vibe. But most importantly, it’s a dark thriller.
Overall Marvel’s Secret Invasion is set as a crossover comic series event about how the a small group Skrulls are already living amongst humans on Earth.
Now, there may be some changes when Marvel officially releases the teaser trailer.
When will Secret Invasion release?
Although, Marvel didn’t provide an official release date for Secret Invasion, they provided a time frame of Spring 2023. However, Marvel did put this series after Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania. So, it’s possible that they announce it’s release date around March or April 2023 as Marvel already has Guardians of The Galaxy: Vol 3 lined up for May.
