Marvel has dropped a new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine. From the day Deadpool 3 was released, there were already rumors about Sabretooth being in the movie. However, the new trailer confirms the return of this X-Men character.

In this third Deadpool movie, Deadpool and Wolverine team up. Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool, and Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. They face off against the evil Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin.

But Cassandra isn’t the only villain. Sabretooth is back too. He wants revenge. Tyler Mane reprises his role as this fierce mutant.

In the trailer, Sabretooth confronts Wolverine. “Ready to die?” he asks. Deadpool interrupts to help Wolverine. He jokes, “You look ridiculous,” while pulling blades from Wolverine’s torso. He then gives a pep talk. “People have waited decades for this fight. It’s not going to be easy,” Deadpool says. The enemies charge at each other, full of rage.

Marvel Studios edited Sabretooth as a character wearing a mask. But the recent trailer reveals that it was Sabretooth. This isn’t the first instance when Marvel has edited a trailer. However, it’s safe to say that this movie will contain a lot more cameos.

Here are some of the other confirmed cameos:

  • Channing Tatum as Gambit
  • Patrick Stewart as Professor X
  • Ian McKellen as Magneto
  • Halle Berry as Storm
  • Ben Affleck as Daredevil
  • Famke Janssen as Jean Grey
  • James Marsden as Cyclops
  • Brian Cox as William Stryker
  • Elizabeth Olsen as Earth-838’s Wanda Maximoff
  • Chris Evans as Human Torch
  • Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool

The trailer also shows Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent. He has a broken nose and tells Deadpool that Wolverine has “let down his entire world.”

Sabretooth isn’t the only returning X-Men character. Aaron Stanford is back as Pyro. Colossus, voiced by Stefan Kapičić, also returns. X-Force teammates Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shatterstar, Yukio, and Peter will be in the film too.

Director Shawn Levy spoke to Entertainment Weekly. He said they didn’t start with a wish list of characters. “We let the story dictate the characters,” he explained. Aaron Stanford’s return as Pyro fits the story perfectly.

Deadpool 3 is shaping up to be an action-packed film with many familiar faces. Make sure to watch this movie in theatres on July 26.
