The trailer will naturally focus on Deadpool, who is going through a midlife crisis and has left the life of heroes behind. He now sells cars to support himself. There is a quick and striking appearance by Wolverine, who will stick his claws into his rival in the preview.
Deadpool, in turn, receives Logan with nicknames making fun of his hair. There is swearing and the rating is definitely for adults. Furthermore, other mutants will show up.
Deadpool 3 will use Fox’s disregard as a plot point. There’ll also be some parts of this movie which take place during the original X-Men trilogy. With so much time travel involved in this movie, TVA and The Void will also have a huge role in the movie. There’s also supposed to be a parody of Avengers Endgame’s final battle.
Deadpool 3 rumors after it was announced
Initially, it was rumored that Logan would be recovering from some of his injuries when Wade Wilson finds him. Deadpool would have come to the future utilizing Cable’s time travelling technology from Deadpool 2. Both Wolverine and Deadpool then get together and embark on a road trip to take down a common enemy. Cable’s tech allows both Wolverine and Deadpool to travel through time.
The Time Variance Authority (TVA) would then show up because of the time travel. Mobius and Miss Minutes were also supposed to have major roles in this movie.
Miss Minutes, the TVA’s mascot, had exchanged tweets with Reynolds which speculated her involvement in Deadpool 3.
Charlie Cox has admitted at a convention appearance that he thinks Daredevil might be able to appear in Deadpool 3 in a role that is not known to many people.
Despite all of this, I still think Deadpool will continue to stay separated from the rest of the characters although it will be a part of the MCU. Deadpool’s storylines won’t merge into major MCU movie storylines like the Avengers. But there can be a lot of character crossovers now. Any of the MCU characters may show up in this movie, but it might not mean anything in the long run. Deadpool would break the fourth wall and make fun of those characters.

Deadpool 3 set photos hint at Deadpool killing the Fox Universe
The main purpose of Deadpool 3 is to introduce Deadpool in the MCU and pave a way for mutants in the MCU. Deadpool is probably the best character to use for this as there’s also a famous comic book storyline called ‘Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe’ related to this.
In that comic book series, Wade Wilson goes crazy and kills everyone in the Marvel Universe may it be a hero or a villain. When you look at the leaked set photos of this movie, there’s also a logo of 20th Century Fox in the background. This suggests Deadpool may kill characters from the Fox Universe. He may even seek Wolverine’s help regarding this.
It could also mean that Deadpool and Wolverine are in the void and are killing characters who have been pruned by the TVA.

Deadpool 3 – Director and Writers
Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 will be directed by Free Guy and The Adam Project director Shawn Levy.
As for the writers, at first Bob’s Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin were hired for Deadpool 3. But with Shawn Levy back, he has pressed on the original writers to write it.
So, the writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who also wrote the script for the first two movies are now back to write Deadpool 3.
When will Deadpool 3 release?
Initially, it was supposed to be out in cinemas on September 6, 2024, then it got delayed to November 8, 2024. Marvel Studios has now officially moved it ahead and set a final release date of July 26, 2024.
Marvel Studios is currently undergoing a lot of changes. They’re looking for experienced directors and changing the tone of the MCU.
What year is Deadpool 3 set in?
Because time travel is involved, this movie will be set in year 2024/2025 in the MCU.
James Mangold’s Logan was set in 2029. That is when Logan dies. Note that this will still hold true. But that still gives Wolverine to appear once again in Avengers: Secret Wars.
