According to rumours, Ke Huy Quan is slated to play a mysterious role in Season 2 of Loki, which was first reported on by Deadline.
What is Ke Huy Quan’s role in Loki Season 2?
Ke Huay Quan will reportedly play the role of “Oroborus,” a character who is also known as “OB” at Time Variance Authority (TVA). This is according to reports from insider Daniel Richtman (@DanielRPK) and shared on Twitter by MCU News. Oroborus is an individual in charge of technology at Time Variance Authority (TVA). The image of the ouroboros in multiple mythologies refers to a snake eating its own tail, which symbolizes the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth in a way.
During his childhood, Ke Huy Quan became known for his roles in blockbusters such as The Goonies (1985) and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). It was announced at the D23 Expo in 2022 that he would join the cast of Loki after making a splash in Everything Everywhere All at Once. The main cast for season 2 will include Kate Dickie who will play the antagonist, Rafael Casal, who will play an undisclosed major role, and Eugene Cordero as TVA Agent Casey. Casey, who appeared on the show as a recurring character in season 1 of the show, will also be joining Quan in season 2.
You might remember Casey as the one with Infinity Gems as paper weights in his drawer.
What to expect from “Loki” season 2?
In Loki season one, Sylvie (Sophie Di Martino) was when she helped Sylvie (Jonathan Majors) kill He Who Remains (He Who Remains), the head of the TVA who had been guarding the organization’s secrets from her. This changed both the nature of the organization and its history.
There are a lot of similarities between Season 2 and Season 1 but the majority of them compare to Season 2 in that it is an examination of a question posed of the TVA itself; it’s a battle for the TVA’s soul which Hiddleston stars as the titular God of Mischief. Quan said that the story line is “really good” but was unable to elaborate further.
There are also rumors that Henry Cavill, who is a Superman pastiche who could be an ally or an enemy in the Marvel universe, will join the series as Hyperion, but the actor has opened up about this possibility.
